Sanskriti Mahila Mandal Katni (M.P.) is a non profit non governmental organisation registered under society registration Act 1973 ,44 of M.P. Govt. (Regn No.- JJ 6682 . dt 27-03-2003.). the organisation was consived by a group of womens to elevate status of poor communities in rural& urban area of Madhya Pradesh. The Sanskriti Mahila Mandal started its development campaign by orgnising the women and imparting awareness initiatives in different walks of there life such as civic responsibilities, poverty elevation through income generation activities, skill up gradation etc. Latter on the orgnisation realized need of diversification of its activities and the activities like vocational skill building, education, health care, capacity building, livestock etc, were also undertaken as per emerging needs of the area. The orgnisation has a team of expert management and committed staff to work effectively for the cause under all circumstances.


 
The Organisation has organized skill upgradation Training and Capacity Building programme in various field with the financial support from DUDA, Jila Panchayat. Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles GOI Ministry of Women Child Development, Ministry of Minority Affairs GOI. And National Children’s Fund.
The organization is running Common facility Centre in Embroidery crafts at Ram Manohar Lohiya Ward Katni sponsored by O/o Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles for upliftment of Artisans.
 
Major Program of Organization
 
Embroidery & Teracotta Craft (A.H.V.Y.)
The Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana in Embroidery Craft was implementing at Dist. Katni (M.P.) for 300 Artisans. Sponsored by the Office of Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textile GOI. Skill up gradation Training & New Design Developed for Artisans. Presently another Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana in terracotta craft for 1000 artisans at Dist. Umariya (M.P.) is being started.
Craft Bazar/Gandhi Shilp Bazar
To provide direct marketing platform to the artisans organized many Craft Bazar/Gandhi Shilp Bazar with help of Office of Development Commissioner (H) Ministry of Textiles GOI at Katni (M.P.). 150-200 Artisans Participated in each Craft Bazar and Gandhi Shilp Bazar.
Nai Roshani (For Minority Women ) 
Leadership development programme (Nai Roshani) for minority women was organized in Katni M.P. supported by Ministry of Minority Affair GOI. The aim of this programme is develop Leadership in Minority Women.
Seminar on Handicrafts  
Seminar on Social, Safety and Environment under R & D Scheme of O/o DC (H) Ministry of Textile GOI.Was organized at Rammanohar Lohiya Ward Mukti Dham Road, Katni (M.P.) The aim of this seminar to aware S.H.G. Artisans and NGOs about social, safety & environment topics.
Revival of Drop out Scheme
The Revival of Dropout scheme for 100 Dropout SC, ST boys was implemented at Block Rithi, Katni (M.P.) Supported by National Children�s Fund Govt. of India. The aim of this program is provide Primary level education for their continuing education.
Skill Up Gradation Training
Skill Up Gradation Training Program was organized at Mission Chowk, Katni for General embroidery crafts Artisans to Provide advance technique, knowledge for embroidery craft. programme is supported by Zila panchayat Katni.
 
DUDA Training Program for Women
The cutting & Tailoring program for SC, ST women was organized at Block Bahoriband Katni (M.P.). Supported by DUDA Katni (M.P.). To provide Training for self employment.
Common Facility Centre
The common facility centre is established at Ram Manohar Lohiya Ward Mukti Dham Road, Katni (M.P.) Supported by office of development commissioner (H) Ministry of Textiles. The main Aim of common facility centre is provide infrastructure facility at lowest cost to improved quality & Production for Artisans.
 
SGSY Training Program for Women
The Cutting & Tailoring Program for Poor and needy women was organized at Block Rithi & Ishwaripura ward Katni (M.P.) supported by Zila Panchayat Katni (M.P.). The aim of Program to provide Cutting & Tailoring Training for self employment.
 
Cluster Development Proramme :-A.H.V.Y. in Embroidery Craft at Dist. Katni (M.P.)
The Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana in Embroidery Craft was implemented at Dist. Katni (M.P.) for Integrated Development of 300 Artisans under Office of DC (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textile GOI. This programme envisages a package of support to the cluster of handicraft artisans, which inter-alia includes basic inputs and infrastructure support .
 
Skill Development Training Programme under M.P. Hastshilp Avam Hathkargha
Main objective of this programme is to Provide Modern Techniques & Design as per market demands.
Sample Design production under M.P. Hastshilp Avam Hathkargha.
Main Objective of this programme to Develop New Innovative Design to the beneficiaries as per market trend.
 
Karigar Training Programme
under M.P. Khadi Board at Mudwara Katni (M.P.) to enhance skill in to the Karigar of Cutting & Tailoring .The Main Objective of the Programme to self sustain of the Beneficiaries .
Training Programme in Tailoring and Hand Embroidery under NRLM.
In this programme we Provide Tailoring and Hand Embroidery training to poor and needy women for self employment and upliftment of their living status.
 
VTP Programme approved by NCVT
The Oganisation had provided Basic Computer Training Programme for 20 Beneficiaries at Katni (M.P.) under VTP scheme.

The SFURTI (Embroidered Fashion Clothing & Accessories Cluster At Katni (M.P)-
The SFURTI project at Katni, under the guidance of Sanskriti Mahila Mandal and supported by the Ministry of MSME, represents a pivotal effort to rejuvenate the age-old craft of embroidered fashion clothing and accessories. By focusing on skill development, infrastructure enhancement, and market linkages, the project aims to empower local artisans with modern techniques and tools while preserving their traditional craftsmanship. Through collaborative efforts within the cluster, artisans are not only improving their economic prospects but also ensuring the sustainable continuation of Katni's rich cultural heritage. The initiative stands as a testament to the transformative impact of targeted government interventions in fostering inclusive growth and preserving indigenous art forms.
Cluster Development Proramme :-A.H.V.Y. in Terracotta Craft at Dist. Umaria (M.P.)
The Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana in Terracotta Craft is being implementing at Dist. Umaria (M.P.) for 1000 Artisans. Sponsored by the Office of DC (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textile GOI. for integrated development of handicrafts clusters with participation of the craft persons at all stages of implementation of the scheme with their empowerment and hence sustainability. The programme envisages a package of support to the cluster of handicraft artisans, which inter-alia includes basic inputs and infrastructure support in addition to capacity enhancement to cater to target markets.
 
Cluster Development Proramme :-(A.H.V.Y.) in Carpet Weaving & Dari Craft at Singrauli (M.P.)
The Integrated Development of 1000 Carpet Weaving & Dari Craft Artisans at Singrauli (M.P.) through Mobilisation, Skill Upgradation, Design Development and Marketing Support at Dist. Singrauli (M.P.) under Ambedkar Hastshilp Vikas Yojana of Office of DC(Handicrafts) Ministry of Textile GOI.
 
H.R.D. Training through Established Institution: (Since2014)
H.R.D. Training through Established Institution in Embroidery and Wood Carving craft has been started at Ram Manohar Lohiya Ward, Mukti Dham Road Dist. Katni (M.P.) sponsored by O/o DC(H) Ministry of Textiles, to provide skill upgradation Training in Embroidery & Wood Carving Crafts to 200 Artisans per annum.
Support to Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for Women
The organization is implementing (STEP) scheme in Cutting stitching and embroidery trade to enhance capacity of beneficiaries/Artisans belongs to SC/ST Minority Category at District Katni with financial support of Ministry of Women and Child development. GOI.
